Wilgje

I started playing WoW around march 2005. Neti gave the game to me as a present after I had been hogging the computer at his place, levelling Neti from 3 to 8 I started with Wilgje when Neti was level 11 and trying to catch up with him only fed my addiction!

I levelled together with Neti until Wilgje was level 19 and then, when we deemed ourselves ready for our first instance (Deadmines), met Wunja and Accolon, and their friend Ordan. Me and Neti had joined a guild called Eclipse after being asked to sign a guild charter, but when we met Wunja and Accolon we felt we wanted to be in our own guild with them. So Purest Light was born. Unfortunately, everyone was able to send out guild invites and before we knew it - before we even knew what General chat could be like - the guild had turned into a chaotic mess. We fled and created Lemmings of the Light!

Unfortunately, one month after the guild was started, the guy who had taken the initiative in creating the guild left quite abruptly and made Neti the GL. Neti then gave that title to me. I love organising and creating communities so I was very happy with the chance to do something with the guild With Wunja and Accolon we had learned to appreciate people, not pixels, and had met our share of... well.. weird people that liked to yell, or misbehave. It was also obvious early on that some guilds felt that the only way to make guilds work, was by yelling/putting people down. These things we wanted to avoid that at all costs with Lemmings of the Light, and that is what has shaped this guild over the years; the intent to do things our own way, showing the 'yellers' of the world that it *is* possible to form a functioning casual raiding community without foresaking your ideals.

I absolutely love every moment of being guild leader of Lemmings of the Light and I love building the community behind it. I want the guild to be a place everyone feels at home in and will try to make every player in it feel worthwhile.
