I started playing WoW back in August 2005, shortly after landing my first job that required use of a laptop and featured a lot of travelling - figured it would while away a few hours in airports and hotels.
Originally, my chars were on the Turalyon server. Garalia was my first char, and I still hold a certain fondness for her. I've only been in a small number of guilds over the past four years. The very first was Heads of Cerberus, into which I was invited shortly after landing in Darkshore. The person who invited (Moonbiter/Dansu) remained a friend for a long time after. After Heads dissolved, went into Frozen North, which then splintered into Effigy, where I remained. With Effigy, ran several raids in the old-world raid zones (MC / AQ20), frequently invited into runs with StarRock.
I decided to leave Turalyon and leave behind some good friends there because I'd been away from the game for a while, and the atmosphere in my existing guild wasn't what I would hope for when trying to have fun.
Jumped over here to Aszune, rolled a warrior to get a fresh start, and got him up to about level 38ish before finding the Lemmings. Garvael hasn't looked back since, and the impression the Lemmings made on me was strong enough for me to pay to move Garalia over here too.
In RL, I've worked in call centre forecasting and planning for the last 15 years or so, and have been studying for an MA in Music in my spare time. The house is shared with my wife, son, and two cats, so spare time is at a premium.
Currently recruiting active team-oriented players of all levels/classes.
